Ned Recommends

I just watched the best bad movie I have seen in a long time. If you have on demand from comcast, and also happen have Encore, I recommend you check out a movie called Cemetary Man. The basic plot is, this guy is the grounds keeper at a cemetary, and for some reason the bodies he buries keep coming back to life. The only thing I can compare this movie to is Shawn of the Dead meets Edgar Allen Poe meets Shakespeare meets some imbucile who doesn't know how to make a decent movie. If you've ever wondered if a disembodied head can make it around without assistance, or whether or not it's a good idea to bury a motorcyclist with his bike, or how soon after being vomited you should completely act like nothing happened, this is the movie for you. Here's a quick clip, check it out.

Damn I Can't Even Find My Car

THE HAGUE, Netherlands - Dutch police have arrested twin brothers on suspicion of robbery after their alleged victim spotted a picture of them following him on Google's Street View map application, a spokesman said Friday.

Paul Heidanus, a police spokesman in the town of Groningen, said he believed it was the first time Street View images had been used in a Dutch criminal investigation.

"For us, it is unique," he said.
A 14-year-old boy told police last September he had been robbed of euro165 ($230) and his cell phone after two men dragged him off his bicycle in Groningen,110 miles northeast of the capital, Amsterdam.

The victim called again in March after seeing an image of himself and two men he believed were his attackers on Street View, police said in a statement.

Talk about a break. Obviously he'll never get his stuff back, but I know what it feels like to be robbed, and just bringing these twerps to justice will bring some satisfaction.I've looked all over google earth trying to find myself, no luck. How about you? Maybe I can get some help from you guys. If you've seen yourself or have any cool Google earth street view photos send them to me at nedfosdick@gmail.com , and if I get enough I'll put them up.

Watch Out Sponsors, Mensa is After You

Bow down CBS sponsors. This ill informed group of nitwits has something to say. In case you missed it (unlikely) Dave Letterman was recently in some hot water over a joke he made about one of Sarah Palins daughters. Basically Sarah Palin attended a baseball game with her 14 yr. old daughter, Lettermans joke was "During the 7th inning her daugher was knocked up by Alex Rodriguez". The joke obviously was directed at Sarah Palins older daughter, who at the time of the presidential campaign was impregnated out of wedlock.
Letterman explained on a later episode that the information he had at the time he made the joke, was that the older daughter was in town.
But an explanation and an apology is not enough for these dolts. They will not be happy until they destroy a long and previously untainted career. The sad part is how viscious and uninformed they are. It's morons like these that got Imus fired. This is how it's supposed to work, if you don't like something you change the channel, if enough people change the channel the program loses money, and goes away. I don't want to lose things that I enjoy, because of people as moronic and ill informed as Brick Tamland.
